Test versions

Apps to try

These are test versions of the apps we're building. They work, but they're still being finished and aren't in the Google Play store yet. On an iPhone, use the browser versions: iPhones can't install apps from a website.

Installing on an Android phone

  1. Tap Download

Under the app you want. If your browser asks whether to keep the file, keep it.

  2. Open the file

Tap the download notice, or find the file in your Files app under Downloads.

  3. Allow installs from your browser

When Android asks, allow installs from your browser, then go back and tap Install.

  4. Turn that setting back off

Once the app is installed, switch "Install unknown apps" off again for your browser. Search Settings for "unknown apps" to find it.

Samsung phones: if the install is blocked, turn off Auto Blocker (Settings > Security and privacy > Auto Blocker), install the app, then turn Auto Blocker back on.

Updates: download the newer version and install it over the old one. Your settings and data stay.

  • Photo Cycle

    Test version

Your own photos as your phone's wallpaper. Pick the folders to use, or add pictures from any app with Share, and choose how often the picture changes, from every 5 seconds to once a day. Unless you choose otherwise, every photo shows once before any photo repeats, whole and uncropped over a soft blurred background, with a gentle fade between pictures, and "On this day" brings up photos taken on today's date in earlier years first. New in 1.4: schedules (different photos or a different pace for mornings, evenings or weekends), a shared family album you add with one link, with no accounts (Google Photos and iCloud album links can't be used), and the whole app in Spanish. Your photos stay on your phone. Android only; there is no browser version.
