Exit & succession readiness
Get the business ready to sell or hand on
Buyers, lenders and family successors ask for the same things: clean books, organized records, and a business that runs without the owner. We get those ready, whether the handoff is years away or months away.

What's included
Clean books
Books caught up, reconciled and separated from personal spending, ready for a buyer's or lender's review.
A document room
Contracts, leases, licenses, tax returns, financial statements and company records, organized in one shared folder for buyers and advisers.
Owner-independence checklist
Every job only you can do today, listed, with a plan to write it down, hand it off or train someone.
A succession or sale timeline
The steps from today to the handoff, in order, with dates.
Coordination with your advisers
We work alongside your business broker or attorney and get them the records they ask for.
What it costs
- Exit & succession readiness
- Quoted in writing before work starts, by the size of the business and the state of its books
- from $2,500
Good to know
- No valuations. We don't value businesses. A business broker or a credentialed appraiser does that; we give them clean numbers to work from.
- No legal documents. Purchase agreements, buy-sell agreements and succession documents are for your attorney.
- Earlier is better. Buyers and lenders usually ask for several years of financial statements and tax returns, so the sooner the books are clean, the better.
